In winter Lee Canyon Ski Resort operates Old Mill and Foxtail as snow play areas under Forest Service permit, weekends/holidays only, when there is at least 12 inches of snow (check leecanyonlv.com). Snow was insufficient for much of the 2025-26 winter per county/USFS releases. Summer picnic season May–Oct. No roadside parking past the roundabout. Dogs leashed. Bring real sleds.
