Cookie notice
Last updated October 16, 2026
Little Funday uses a small number of cookies and similar browser storage. Some are needed to keep you signed in and the site safe. Analytics runs only if you agree to it. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. This notice lists what we use, why, and how to change your choices.
What cookies and similar storage we use
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, do the same job. We use these only for the purposes below. The lifetimes shown are typical guidance; they can change as we improve the service, and this notice will be updated when they do.
Strictly necessary storage
These items do not need your consent because the service cannot work without them. They keep you signed in, protect the site and remember your basic preferences.
- better-auth session cookie: keeps you signed in after you use a magic link, one-time code or Google. Lifetime: a session, which ends when you sign out or after a period of inactivity.
- Security and CSRF protection: short-lived values that check a request really came from Little Funday and help block misuse. Lifetime: a session.
- lf.anon.v1 (browser local storage): remembers preferences for visitors who are not signed in, such as filters, saved events and the kids’ ages and optional nicknames entered during setup, so they are kept on this device. Lifetime: up to 12 months, or until you clear your site data.
Analytics (only with your consent)
We use PostHog to understand which pages and features are useful, so we can improve them. PostHog runs only after you accept analytics in our cookie banner. If you decline, PostHog does not load and does not set analytics storage on your device.
Our analytics aim to measure the product, not to identify you. Where possible, we configure PostHog to avoid storing personal identifiers, and we do not use analytics to build advertising profiles.
- PostHog analytics storage: set only after consent. Lifetime: up to 12 months, and it can be removed at any time from your browser or from Profile → Privacy.
Error monitoring
We use Sentry to receive error reports, so we can find and fix problems quickly. Sentry error reports do not include personal identifiers, and we do not use Sentry to track you across sites. Error monitoring does not set a tracking cookie for marketing purposes.
- Sentry error reports: sent when the site hits an error. Lifetime: retained only for as long as needed to fix the problem.
How to manage your consent
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics. You can accept or decline. Your choice is stored in a cookie called lf-consent, so we do not ask again on every visit. Lifetime: up to 12 months.
You can change your mind at any time. Open Profile → Privacy to change your analytics setting. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings, which removes all of the items above. Clearing site data signs you out and resets your saved preferences on that device.
- lf-consent: records your analytics choice. Lifetime: up to 12 months.
- Browser settings: most browsers let you block or delete cookies and local storage for a site. Blocking strictly necessary storage may stop you from signing in.
Signals we honor
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal or a Do Not Track signal, we treat it as a request not to run analytics and we do not load PostHog. You do not need to do anything else for that to apply.
No advertising or third-party tracking cookies
Little Funday does not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels or third-party tracking cookies on this site. We do not sell information collected through cookies or similar storage. Some third-party services we use, such as Stripe for payments, may set their own storage when you use them, and their notices apply to that storage.
Changes to this notice
We may add or change items in this notice as the product changes. We will update the “Last updated” date when we do. For a full picture of how we handle personal information, read our Privacy Policy.
