Season May–Oct (weather permitting); picnic area open 10 AM–5 PM per Aug 2026 weekly update; trailhead and trail open as of 8/7/26. 7,600 ft — often 20–30°F cooler than the valley. Trail length not stated on official pages. Dogs leashed. Nearby Mary Jane Falls and Trail Canyon remain closed (storm damage, closure order to May 2027).
