Official: 1.5 mi loop, ~1 h, easy to moderate, some elevation gain and decline; from the Red Spring Picnic Area up around the Red Spring Boardwalk (existing record) and down into a sandy wash past big sandstone boulders. Calico Basin is outside the Scenic Drive fee station; whether any fee applies was not confirmed (null).
