Walking the district is free; individual businesses set their own hours. IMPORTANT: First Friday (monthly art walk, normally 5-11pm, free, 1025 S 1st St footprint) is PAUSED: after a fatal shooting of a 15-year-old at the Oct 2, 2026 event, organizers announced on their official social channel (reported by FOX5 and KTNV, Oct 15, 2026) that the event is pausing with no return date; city discussing ID checks/teen curfew. Not encoded as an event. Preview Thursday (night before First Friday) has no current official schedule (only older press). 18b.org lists one-off events (Halloween Trunk or Treat Oct 24, 1-5pm, free; Downtown PARC Saturday car show 7-11am from Oct 24, cost not stated).
