Red Rock Junior Rangers

Do you have a loved one who dreams of becoming a Junior Ranger? Now’s your chance to make that dream come true! Join a Bureau of Land Management Ranger for an exciting Junior Ranger program. You and your child will explore the wonders of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area while learning about the important Leave No Trace principles. Plus, every month, your Junior Ranger can earn a badge for completing the program!

There are seven awesome Junior Ranger programs, each focusing on a different principle of Leave No Trace. If your Junior Ranger collects all seven badges, they’ll receive their very own Red Rock Junior Ranger display banner!

This month, we’ll dive into the principle of Be Kind to Other Visitors. We’ll learn why we should be kind to other people in nature, play a fun Leave No Trace game, and then embark on a fun hike to practice what we have learned! The whole family is welcome to join in the fun, and at the end, we’ll celebrate by handing out badges to our Junior Rangers!

Interpretive programs at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area are a free public service. Advance registration at https://rrjr-nov.timetap.com is required to attend this program. No Scenic Drive entry fees required to attend this program.

It is recommended to wear sunscreen, appropriate footwear, bring a hat, sunglasses, and plenty of water.
