Bat Alebrije Workshop

Join us at Red Rock Canyon for a fun and creative workshop in partnership with local artist Vanessa Maciel!

Discover the traditional Mexican art of cartonería as you create your very own bat-inspired alebrije! Along the way, learn about the important role bats play in keeping our desert ecosystem healthy and how we can help protect these fascinating creatures.

This family-friendly art workshop will take place outdoors and is suitable for children and adults of all ages. No hiking is required, and all art materials will be provided. Come get creative, explore Mexican folk art, and celebrate the amazing bats of Red Rock Canyon!
