Add your saved activities to Google or Apple Calendar
Every Little Funday Plus family gets a private calendar link. Subscribe to it once and every activity you save shows up in the calendar you already use, next to school pickups and soccer practice. When a saved event changes, your calendar updates on its own.
What is in the feed
The feed holds the activities you saved with the heart button, with the date, time, place, price and a link back to the event page. It does not add every event in Las Vegas, only the ones you picked, so your calendar stays tidy. Save something new and it appears at the next refresh; unsave it and it disappears.
The link is private to your family. Anyone who has it can see your saved activities, so share it only with the people who plan with you. If it ever ends up somewhere it should not, you can create a new link in your profile and the old one stops working.
Calendar subscriptions are part of Little Funday Plus. Your personal link is on this page when you are signed in as a member, and in your profile under Account.
Google Calendar (computer, then every device)
Google only lets you add a subscription from a computer browser. Once it is added, it appears in the Google Calendar app on Android, iPhone and iPad automatically.
- Copy your private link from this page or your profile.
- Open calendar.google.com on a computer and sign in.
- In the left sidebar, next to “Other calendars”, click the + button and choose “From URL”.
- Paste the link and click “Add calendar”. It shows up under “Other calendars” as “Little Funday saved events”.
- Or use the “Add to Google Calendar” button on this page, which opens the same screen with the link filled in.
Apple Calendar on iPhone and iPad
The quickest way is the “Open in Apple Calendar” button on this page: tap it on your iPhone or iPad and confirm “Subscribe”. To add it by hand:
- Copy your private link.
- Open the Calendar app, tap Calendars at the bottom, then Add Calendar and Add Subscription Calendar.
- Paste the link, tap Find, then Add.
- Or go through Settings: Apps → Calendar → Calendar Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Subscribed Calendar (on older versions, Settings → Calendar → Accounts).
- If you use iCloud, choose iCloud as the account so the subscription also appears on your Mac.
Apple Calendar on Mac
If you already added the link on an iPhone with iCloud, it is on your Mac too. Otherwise:
- Open Calendar and choose File → New Calendar Subscription.
- Paste your private link and click Subscribe.
- Set Location to iCloud so it syncs to your iPhone too, and set Auto-refresh to “Every hour”.
- Click OK. The calendar appears in the sidebar; you can change its color there.
Questions parents ask
How quickly do changes show up?
Apple Calendar refreshes as often as you set it to, every hour at best. Google Calendar decides on its own schedule and can take up to a day; that is a Google limit we cannot change. Change alerts from Little Funday arrive right away either way.
Can I edit the events in my calendar?
Subscribed calendars are read-only. To add or remove an activity, save or unsave it on Little Funday and your calendar follows at the next refresh.
Does it work with Outlook?
Yes. In Outlook on the web choose Add calendar → Subscribe from web and paste the same link.
